Arborvitae. This is my current Go-To oil for coldsores. I have suffered with coldsores since I first started school. I remember the school teacher making me sit outside because I had a coldsore. That was, until my mother showed up. She very quickly "educated" the teacher on coldsores and I was allowed to sit in the classroom again. Coldsores thrive on stress - yet they are one of the most stressful things to have on your face! I've tried a number of different treatments and preventative options. Arborvitae is my current fave. I simply place a finger on the top of the bottle, top it upside down once. This gives me the tiniest bit of oil on my finger. I then direct onto the coldsore (making sure I wash my hands immediately afterward). I have found that this stops the pain in the first two days, and greatly speeds up the drying process of the next few days. Such a wonderful oil - one that I never leave home without.
